Yellowdoor Studios - Background

I started Yellowdoor as I was tired of being employed by corporate photographic companies who were more interested in their own ego and profits, than listening to their clients' requirements.

Commissioning photography should be painless, creative and even fun. It should not be bogged down with logistics or the stress of employing an unreliable photographer.

Yellowdoor listens.....and then takes a personal pride in creating the best result. I'll do everything possible to meet deadlines but if it isn't achievable I'll talk to the client directly and in advance. I won't prevaricate or pass the buck. Similarly, I'll make it clear what I can achieve for a specified budget rather than create something unnecessarily extravagant and then charge more.

My clients tend to be design and marketing agencies, although I also work directly with a few marketing departments of large organisations such as Sun Microsystems, ICL, Thales Geo-solutions, Moet and Chandon, Guardian IT, Crowne Plaza Hotels, Ernst & Young, Cussons, London Tourist Board, The Consumer's Association etc. My photography is divided almost equally between studio and location, producing strong creative imagery in both mediums, at a competitive hourly rate.

Based in South West London, with quick access to both central London and the M25, Yellowdoor has worked damn hard to earn the reputation for delivering a professional, reliable and creative service....with a smile.
